You don't get much more basic than Char-Broil's 2-Burner Classic. It's small in size and price. The two 13,250 BTU stainless steel main burners actually have a bit higher output than many comparable grills. Ignition is piezo electric. The housing is porcelain coated steel and cooking grates are porcelain coated steel rods. You get a few useful extras: 8000 BTU side burner, side shelves... Read More

Char-Broil's 3-Burner with Side Burner is yet another made cheap to sell cheap product that Char-Broil excels in producing, and we mean that as a compliment. There is obviously a huge market for low cost BBQ gassers, and this one is actually large for the money and has higher powered burners than most of the competition. You get three 12,000 BTU main burners and one 12,000 BTU side... Read More

PlaceholderLarge shiny steel gas grill on a double door cart with black trim.
Char-Broil's Classic 6-Burner boasts a whopping 650 square inches of primary cooking surface. Five 10,000 BTU stainless steel main burners, one cave-era 15,000 BTU "sear burner" and one 10,000 BTU side burner. The 10K mains don't pack a lot of power, although the porcelain coated cast iron grates will get hot enough to create grill marks and the 15,000 BTU burner will give you a boost.... Read More

PlaceholderSmall shiny 2-burner gas grill mounted on a single door cart with shelves on both sides.
This 2-Burner is the smallest Char-Broil Gourmet grill. A good choice for environments with limited space like an apartment patio. The side tables fold down and the grill can be rolled out of the way when not in use. Char-Broil's Gourmet line, formerly called Red, has a significantly different design than their Commercial or Professional models. Below the porcelain coated cast iron... Read More

PlaceholderShiny 3-burner gas grill mounted on a double door cart with shelves on both sides.
Formerly called Red, Char-Broil's Gourmet line has a significantly different design than the Commercial or Professional models. Below the porcelain coated cast iron grates and above the burners sits a dark non-stick trough that radiates heat to the cooking surface. This makes the entire grill an indirect cooker. There is no ability to cook directly over live fire and no radiant panels... Read More

THIS MODEL IS DISCONTINUED. The 500 IR Flex is the largest Char-Broil Professional. Available at Tru-Value and other independent retailers the Professional line has heat indicators above each of the four stainless steel burners just like Char-Broil's Commercial grills. Professional and Commercial lines also have similar IR cooking grate designs, except Professionals are porcelain coated... Read More

PlaceholderBlack upright cabinet smoker with one door up front and a hose coming out of the bottom.
Yet another generic vertical gas smoker for your consideration. The good news is the price. A hundred and twenty bucks doesn't leave much room for complaints, and because the basic design is generic, it should do a decent job. The bad news is it's small at 15.5"W x 16.7"D x 33.3"H and only comes with two chrome plated cooking racks for total capacity of 357 square inches. Be that as it... Read More

THE GENESIS II LX LINE HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED The Genesis II LX E-440 is a good looking 4-burner gas grill, built like a tank with many great features that do justice to the Weber Genesis names lofty reputation. However the LX E-440 has two frustrating flaws; it doesn't do a good job of searing and high price. It cooks most food beautifully. We got tender and juicy BBQ chicken with... Read More
