PlaceholderBlack bullet shaped upright smoker with domed lid. There are handles on each side and on the lid. A small shiny steel door is located in front.
The Master Forge Charcoal Smoker/Griller, like the notorious El Cheapo Brinkmann line, is a low cost bullet smoker aka water smoker. Like Brinkmann bullets, this Master Forge smoker is tough to use. Charcoal is burnt in a pan with holes running along the side.  No charcoal grate is included to raise the coal off the bottom of the pan, and no dampers are included either. The poor design... Looks like this one is discontunued. No worries, Nexgrill allways has a full line of low priced stuff. Walmart claims the MSRP is almost $600, but for you it's only $439.98. Four 12,000 BTU tube burners, a 15,000 BTU sear burner, 13,000 BTU rotisserie backburner with BBQ rotisserie kit and porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates. Made cheap to sell cheap, a lot of Nexgrill owners have... Read More

PlaceholderBlack horizontal barrel smoker mounted on four legs with two wheels. A box is attached to the left side and a small bucket to the right side.
This model was discontinued and replaced by Traeger's Junior Elite Smoker. As the name indicates, this is a smaller version of Traeger's popular, full size, entry level Lil' Tex smoker. This model was discontuned and replaced with Traeger's Lil'Tex Elite Smoker. In the past this popular cooker served as a great starter for people interested in pellet cooking. There are three setting: High (which they claim is about 450°F), medium (325°F), and smoke (200 to 250°F). Alas, because there is no thermostatic control, it will not always cook at the same temp because it will... Read More

VERMONT CASTINGS NO LONGER MAKES BBQ GRILLS Vermont Castings has relocated manufacturing from China back to the USA. The 324 Signature Series 3-burner gas grill has received a few decent reviews and VC touts it as "Rated #1 by a leading consumer magazine". But when we got under the hood at a recent trade show for a hands on inspection we were unimpressed. Fit and finish were decent, but... Read More

It appears this model is discontinued. The Tailgater Grill pellet smoker by Blaz'n Grill Works their smallest model. The basic design is typical of many pellet smokers, but Blaz'n Grill offers a few unique features. Foremost is the easy clean burn pot which allows you to bypasses the task of lifting the greasy grates and drip pan to clean out ash. Simply slide out the burn pot with a... Read More

2) Try to post your question to the appropriate page.

3) Tell us everything we need to know to help such as the type of cooker and thermometer. Dial thermometers are often off by as much as 50°F so if you are not using a good digital thermometer we probably can't help you with time and temp questions. Please read this article about thermometers.
