Char-Broil's Advantage Series Gas Grills are one of their most popular product lines. They come in 2, 3, 4 and 6 burner models. Some have black enamel lids, others have stainless steel lids. Some have enclosed carts with doors, some carts are just a frame with a solid front panel. Large for a low price, this $200, 4-Burner stainless is the best seller in the Advantage line. Four low... Char-Broil's Classic 480 Four Burner Gas Grill is large for a low price. Four 10,000 BTU main burners and one 10,000 BTU side burner don't pack a lot of power, although the porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates will get hot enough to create grill marks. Electronic ignition. Low grade stainless steel lid and control panel suggest that shiny appearance many find appealing, but the... Read More

Char-Broil's Quickset 2-Burner is similar to other CB models. Char-Broil excels in producing grills that are made cheap to sell cheap, and we mean that as a compliment. There is obviously a huge market for low cost gassers, and Char-Broil manages to build in just a little more quality than most brands in this price range. You get two 13,250 BTU stainless steel tube burners. Porcelain... Read More

PlaceholderShiny steel gas grill with two burners mounted on a single door cart. Black sheleves are attached to both sides.
This 2-burner works well in small spaces like a condo patio. When not in use, one can fold down the side shelves and roll it out of the way. If space is not an issue and you can afford the extra money, we recommend upgrading to the 3-burner which will perform better for 2-zone or indirect cooking. This model is the smallest grill in Char-Broil's Performance BBQ line. Available at Tru-... Read More

PlaceholderShiny steel gas grill with three burners mounted on a double door cart. Steel sheleves are attached to both sides.
This 3-burner is a mid-size model in Char-Broil's Performance line. Available at Tru-Value and other independent retailers it has heat indicators above each stainless steel burner just like Char-Broil's Commercial grills. Performance and Commercial lines also have similar IR cooking grate designs, except Performance uses a single piece of stainless steel that mimics the Commercial line... Read More

The Coleman Roadtrip Grill LXE is a two-burner portable gas grill on a fold-up cart. The two 10,000 BTU burners have a unique round design. They are covered by an oval heat diffuser that evens out heat across the coated cast iron grates and sizzles drippings to flavor foods. Additional cook surfaces are available that fit on either side, over one of the burners. There is a griddle and... Read More

The Cuisinart Petite Gourmet Tabletop Gas Grill is Portable with a capital P! Small and lightweight the design favors style and mobility over performance. We found the single 5,500 BTU stainless steel oval burner got plenty hot for searing but temp was concentrated in the middle of the porcelain coated steel grate, making it necessary to constantly move foods around for even cooking.... The Element Grill is an interesting, very stylish, dual zone gas cooker. Various tech blogs have referred to it as "the iPhone of grills". Although it is a free standing, pedestal device with a 36" high cooking surface it is remarkably compact. The 23" diameter footprint is beneficial wherever space is an issue. It can easily be wheeled about then tucked away in a corner when not in use... Read More

The Huntington Cast 24025 LP Gas Grill is a throwback to the first cast aluminum BBQ gas grills which began appearing in the early 1960s and are still made by American companies like Modern Home Products. Back then, cast aluminum housings were the norm instead of stainless or coated steel. The aluminum cookbox retains heat and distributes it evenly. Although the casting on this model... Read More

1) Please try the table of contents or the search box at the top of every page before you ask for help.

2) Try to post your question to the appropriate page.

3) Tell us everything we need to know to help such as the type of cooker and thermometer. Dial thermometers are often off by as much as 50°F so if you are not using a good digital thermometer we probably can't help you with time and temp questions. Please read this article about thermometers.
