With a combination of East-meets-West ingredients, this simple sauce has the heat and the sweet to enhance the flavors of your favorite foods. It’s especially good as a dipping sauce for fried appetizers like Pulled Pork Egg Rolls.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 1 hour
Servings: 4 cups (946mL)
Course: Main Course, Sauces and Condiments, Side Dish
Cuisine: American, Asian
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Stubbs Original BBQ Sauce (or your favorite store bought sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Asian chili garlic sauce like Huy Fong or sambal oelek

Method

  1. Prep. Combine all ingredients in a serving bowl. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  2. Serve. Use as you would any other BBQ sauce.
