The ChefsTemp ProTemp 2 Plus is priced aggressively at $149.99 for the stand and one probe. One or two optional probes are also available. It comes with a USB cable but no wall wart. The app is friendly enough. Overall, I would recommend this product for its apparent quality, ease of use, and packaging.

The market is flooded with inexpensive thermometers that perform like this one, so a price tag of over $50 seems a bit excessive. While this unit performed well, it doesn’t have a feature set that would set it apart from its lower-priced competitors.
