BeefEater is an Australian company that has manufactured mid to high end grills and accessories since 1984. They offer freestanding grills and modular components for permanent installations as well as a variety of accessories. BeefEater products are not available at big box outlets in the USA and are sold exclusively through independent hearth and patio stores. They also export to Europe, the Middle East, Asia and New Zealand.
BeefEater’s claim to fame is their Australian style shallow firebox that positions the charcoal and gas burners very close to the cooking surface for intense searing. Design is similar to Weber’s Genesis and Summit lines with a shallow firebox and high profile hood, but BeefEater’s grates are even closer to the heat.
In addition to tools, rotisseries and accessories, they make a nifty Pizza Oven hood that fits their 4 and 5 burner gas grills.
