Nordic Ware

Nordic Ware is a family owned business started in 1946 making a handful of specialty Scandinavian cookware products. Their first big hit was the Bundt Cake Pan. Today they are still family owned with three generations working together at their large manufacturing facility in Minneapolis where most of their products are made. They went from 2 employees to 350 and their catalog now offers a wide variety of kitchen and cooking items that are distributed throughout the world. Globalization has exported millions of manufacturing jobs out of the USA. It’s nice to see a company like Nordic Ware that finds a way to keep their operation right here while practicing sustainability and being mindful of environmental issues. Check out their factory.
