Chinese manufacturer Nexgrill licensed the KitchenAid name and slaps it on the lid of some basic BBQ gas grills. This 3-burner appears to perform OK and may not be a bad deal if you can catch it on sale. And it’s always on sale.
Stainless steel double wall hood, control panel and doors with a painted steel cart. Three stainless tube burners with 12,000 BTU output each and a brass cap 12,000 BTU side burner. It has Nexgrill’s stainless steel wrapped cooking grates, two side shelves and a slide out LP tank.
Unless you get a smoking deal on this gasser, we’d advise to keep looking.
Product Information:
Manufacturer:
A wide variety of refrigerators, stoves and other kitchen appliances bare the KitchenAid name and the brand has a decent reputation. But when it comes to KitchenAid grills, it’s just a name that’s been licensed to Chinese manufacturer Nexgrill. That said, KitchenAid grills aren’t bad. In fact they may be the best grills for the money that Nexgrill produces.ย
Nexgrill alsoย makes Grillmaster, Jenn-Air and Nexgrill. Sears, Lowes, Costco and others carry theseย brands and they play a lot of sticker price games.
On the downside the warranty is weak and if things go wrong, instead of talking to Weber or Char-Broil customer service people, you’ll end up trying to resolve issues with Nexgrill and their all brands at one toll freeย customer service numberย – TGS: The Grill Service Corporation.
