ThermoWorks OT200D Oven Dial Thermometer Review

Discontinued

This unit is no longer available.

This inexpensive dial thermometer is too inaccurate to be of any use. While it was right on at 130º, by the time the oven was at 325, it was off by 23º. The measurement was taken in a small oven whose temperature was determined by a digital oven probe of known accuracy. Several other similar thermometers were tested simultaneously, and this one was the only unit whose reading departed significantly from the actual temperature. Plenty of time was allowed for it to stabilize, but alas, it was just too far off.

Get a good digital thermometer – you won’t regret it.
