The AmazingRibs.com Gold Medal winning review of Broil King’s Regal 490 is the mid-size model in their Regal Series. Broil King claims their patented Dual Tube Burners produce more even heat. After cooking extensively with dual tubes, we believe the heat is indeed even, but no more so than with similar quality grills. But those Dual Tube Burners sue provide a lot of sear power.

Weber electric grills get pretty hot so we award them our AmazingRibs.com Silver Medal. Our review describes Q 2400’s two aluminum heat retention liners that prevent heat from escaping. Additionally, the conductive properties of coated cast iron grates on all Q models help produce good sear marks.
