There are many BBQ grills floating around with the Jenn-Air name. This 4-burner on a cart was the only unit displayed at the NexGrill website at the time of this writing. It has “Stainless steel wrapped main cooking grates”, four stainless main burners at 10,000 BTU each, 15,000 BTU searing side burner, 13,000 BTU ceramic rotisserie burner, porcelain coated flame tamers, battery operated electronic ignition, built-in halogen hood lights, welded stainless steel main lid and a cover is included.
Product Information:
Manufacturer:
Jenn-Air Grills, made by Nexgrill, aren’t bad, but considering MSRPs they aren’t good either. A wide variety of refrigerators, stoves and other kitchen appliances bore the Jenn-Air name since the 1960s and the brand has a decent reputation. But when it comes to Jenn-Air grills, it’s just a name that’s been licensed to Chinese manufacturer Nexgrill.
Jenn-Air is the top of the line for Nexgrill. They alsoย makeย Grillmaster, Kitchen Aid and Nexgrill. Sears, Lowes, Costco and others carry theseย brands and they play a lot of sticker price games. To someone looking for a shining stainless steel drop in grill head for an outdoor kitchen, Jenn-Air MSRPs already look pretty good: much lower than premium grade grills. Knock a couple hundred bucks off for a special sale and now it’s a deal that’s hard to pass up. But caveat emptor. Theย perennial sale prices on all these brands are more in line with what the MSRPs should be to begin with.
The warranty is weak and if things go wrong, instead of talking to an independently owned dealer for a quality cooker like Saber or AOG, you’ll end up trying to resolve issues with Nexgrill and their all brands at one toll freeย customer service numberย – TGS: The Grill Service Corporation.
