The Klose 30″ by 8 foot Mobile Smoker is one of their most popular big BBQ rigs. It has two doors and a 30″ x 30″ firebox. The Upright is a large cabinet smoker box attached to the main barrel. A sliding damper separates the two. With the damper closed, the Upright is 75 to 100 degrees cooler, open the Upright and barrel are the same temp.
Stainless steel door handles are air cooled and there are lock down rods for each door. It features Dual 6″ Smokestacks, a high quality Bulldog coupler with safety chains and tail lights. Our posted MSRP is for the standard smoker with no extras. The model pictured at the top of this page is loaded with options like over size tires and chrome Mags, counterweights for the doors, three row pull-out cooking shelves, full 24″ x 10′ rear log rack and two inch drain ball valve.

Manufacturer:
BBQ Pits by Klose has made some of the most highly regarded pits since 1986. Many top competitors use Klose pits. They are not cheap but fit and finish and craftsmanship are top notch. They hold up well and hold up their resale value.
In addition to serious cookers of all sizes from backyard to monster commercial, Klose makes some of the craziest custom pits you’ve ever seen: A passenger jet shaped pit for Continental Airlines, a beer bottle shaped pit, a phone booth, a baby carriage, trains – you name it. Klose is a bit of a character, too. His personal smoker “Bling Bling” (above) has 24k gold plated wheels, satellite dish and DVR with Hi-Def monitor powered by solar cells, beer coolers, deep fryers, infrared grill, lighting, warming oven, lazy susan, and yes, even a dual stainless steel kitchen sink.
