Char-Broil Vertical Electric Smoker Review

Char-Broil’s stripped down electric smoker is one step up from a box with a heating element on the bottom. Be that as it may, we like Char-Broil and feel they often deliver a little better quality and customer support in the value priced categories so this offering receives our AmazingRibs.com Silver Medal.
Master Forge Manual Ignition Vertical Gas Smoker Review

Yet another generic vertical gas smoker for your consideration. The good news is the price. A hundred and twenty bucks doesn’t leave much room for complaints. We give this one our AmazingRibs.com Best Value Bronze Medal.
Master Forge Vertical Gas Smoker Review

The Master Forge Vertical Gas Smoker is an average cooker, built OK for an OK price. Most gas smokers are pretty generic, but get the job done and we far prefer them over electric smokers. We give this one our AmazingRibs.com Best Value Silver Medal.
Char-Griller Pellet Smoker Review

Not recommended. Char-Griller tried to hop on the pellet smoker bandwagon with this halfhearted attempt at making a mid-size product. Had they introduced this closer to 2010 at the same price, it would have been a viable entry level pellet smoker. Now it’s a relic from a company with notoriously poor quality.
Blackstone Ultimate Pizza Oven Bundle Review

Although Blackstone presents the Patio Oven as a versatile device that cooks a variety of foods, it is best suited for pizza. Blackstone claims it cooks a pizza in under 3 minutes. We reviewed Blackstone’s Pizza Oven and award our Bronze Medal. This is a unique offering for those who would put a dedicated pizza oven to good use.
Master Forge 4-Burner Modular Gas Grill Review

The Master Forge 4-Burner Modular Gas Grill comes with a lot of extras and a matching sink/bar with griddle and burners is available for an additional $800. As with all Master Forge cookers, construction is flimsy. We don’t recommend this model.
Blackstone 36″ Griddle Cooking Station Review And Rating

The Blackstone 36″ Griddle Cooking Station is an interesting, low cost, large capacity, portable cook top. Griddles are different from grills and we love our open flames, but boy oh boy….people who own these are nuts about them! And so are we. Check out our review to find why this fun cooker earns our AmazingRibs.com Platinum Medal.
Master Forge 4-Burner Gas Grill with Side Burner Review

A stripped down Master Forge model with an open cart. This brand is 50/50 hate vs. love. Some owners complain about poor construction, customer service and availability of parts, while others are eager to shower praise. Owners of this model seem satisfied and feel it is a good deal considering the low price.
Char-Griller Wrangler Charcoal Grill Review

Read our review of Char-Griller’s Wrangler. It’s a generic barrel style charcoal grill. This same design is offered by other manufacturers and Char-Griller makes the same basic barrel in a few different sizes with slightly different features. This one has an adjustable height charcoal tray, removable ash pan, side shelf and front shelf.
Brinkmann 28″ Barrel Style Charcoal Grill Review

The Brinkmann 28″ Barrel Style Charcoal Grill is a generic device offered in similar versions by other manufacturers. This one is smallish and stripped down to the basics. It has an adjustable height charcoal tray, removable ash pan and porcelain coated steel grates.
Char-Broil American Gourmet 800 Series Charcoal Grill Review

Char-Broil’s American Gourmet 800 Series Charcoal Grill is a generic barrel style charcoal grill. This same design is offered by other manufacturers. We reviewed this model and award our AmazingRibs.com Best Value Bronze Medal.
Dyna-Glo Vertical Charcoal Offset Smoker Review

Dyna-Glo’s Vertical Charcoal Offset Smoker is one of the few low-cost Vertical Offsets we’ve reviewed. We advise readers to avoid purchasing cheap horizontal barrel offsets, but this inexpensive vertical smoker should mitigate one of the primary flaws of horizontal offsets: heat travels upward not sideways.
Dyna-Glo Dual Zone Charcoal Grill Review

The Dyna-Glo Dual Zone Charcoal Grill looks good on paper, but we are skeptical of the quality from this manufacturer. The good news in our review is that it has two, independently adjustable charcoal trays, a unique feature which could be useful, and a removable firebox divider to isolate the two zones.
Dyna-Glo Charcoal Grill Review

Dyna-Glo makes basically the same grill for Lowe’s under the Master Forge label. A lot of people like it, so we went to kick the tires for this review and were sorry to find it is about as flimsy as flimsy gets. It’s so cheaply constructed that it made the POJ Char-Griller on display next to it look good.
Char-Broil 30″ Charcoal Grill Review

Char-broil’s 30″ Charcoal Grill provides ample capacity with 527 square inches of coated cast iron cook surface.
