Jambo Junior is the smallest BBQ smoker offered by Jambo Pits. With a 24″ X 48″ barrel, 24″ X 24″ X 20″ firebox and plain black finish, it lacks the size and pizazz of Jambo’s big, colorful competition rigs, but shares the same quality construction and thoughtful design features that make Jambo the cooking choice of many award winning competitive teams.
This stock model features two doors on the smokebox, one on the side of the firebox, front shelf, a long smokestack over 40″ tall and two large wheels.

Manufacturer:
Jambo Pits is the brainchild of award winning Pit Master Jamie Geer. Operating out of Fort Worth, TX since 1989, Jambo is known for superior design,ย performance and beautiful fit and finish. With their colorful enamel paint jobs and characteristic streamlined trailers, Jambo’s large custom pits resemble race cars, (see the red rig below). Geer’s insightful designs based on experience from hisย competition barbecue days have led numerous teams to victory across the country. They manufacture a varietyย of smokers from smaller residential models to the big rigs.
The standard finish is high heat, black textured paint, but you can get any colors, graphics or logos you fancy. Geer feels one of Jambo’s key features is low fuel consumption, which he attributes to his heavily insulated fire box. Many folks choose the optional “Boiler” door for the firebox (see inset pic above). Chrome chimneys are another popular add-on.
