The Member’s Mark Stainless Steel and Porcelain 5-Burner Gas Grill is a Sam’s Club exclusive made cheap to sell cheap for the disposable gas grill crowd. Most owners seem pleased to get a big grill for a small price. Five 12,400 BTU stainless steel tube burners covered with porcelain coated flame tents to disperse heat. A small BBQ wood chip box slides out from the front control panel. A single electric ignitor serves the entire grill. Cooking surface is coated cast iron grates and a warming rack is included.
The hood is double walled porcelain coated steel with stainless steel trim and a cheap built-in analog heat estimator. Do yourself a favor and splurge on digital thermometers. Click here to search for good low cost options at our Digital Thermometer Reviews.
The double door enclosed cart is also porcelain coated steel with stainless trim and two side shelves. A 12,000 BTU side burner is located in the left side shelf. The LP tank mounts into a convenient slide out base for easy access. Four smallish locking casters facilitate movement.
There is a slide out grease tray in the back that attaches to the firebox bottom which also slides out for easy cleaning. All in all not too bad considering price and if you like to throw gassers out every couple years rather than clean and maintain them, Member’s Mark may be for you.
