Original Bear Paws

Share on:
bear paws

This is the original article, made from nylon by Bear Paw Products. You may have seen these tools used on TV cooking shows such as BBQ Pitmasters, Barbecue America (PBS), America’s Test Kitchen, World’s Greatest, and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. They were named the “Best BBQ Tool” by the National BBQ Association.

These meat shredders are certified BPA free and heat resistant up to 475˚F. They are ergonomically designed with ample spacing between the claws to allow plenty of clearance for the meat as you are shredding. As the original article, Bear Paws have a huge market share, although imitators are cropping up in a lot of places these days.

Bear Paws are made in America, dishwasher safe, and come in black, grey and red colors. Plus, they generally sell for less $20.

1) Please try the search box at the top of every page before you ask for help.

2) Try to post your question to the appropriate page.

3) Tell us everything we need to know to help such as the type of cooker and thermometer. Dial thermometers are often off by as much as 50°F so if you are not using a good digital thermometer we probably can’t help you with time and temp questions. Please read this article about thermometers.
