Corks Are A Multi-Purpose Tool Every Kitchen Needs

I always have a drawer full of corks for a variety of tasks, especially for re-corking open bottles.

In particular I like the T-top corks, i.e. the kind that are used on sherry and port are especially good for this. I use regular wine corks for holding my digital thermometer probe just above the cooking surface of my smokers.
