Blackstone’s Ultimate Pizza Oven is propane powered outdoor oven on four heavy casters, (2 locking). The powerful 60,000 BTU gas burner is housed in a dome topped pizza oven with an open front. A round ceramic pizza stone rests above the flame and another ceramic plate is positioned above the cooking surface in the dome to radiate heat back down. The pizza stone/cook surface spins via a removable motor that may be battery operated or connected to AC.
This pizza oven was discontinued for awhile, but Blackstone brought it back bundled with a Pizza Oven Cover, Two 14″ Pizza Trays, Large Pizza Peel and a Blackstone Apron.
Although Blackstone presents the Patio Oven as a versatile BBQ device that cooks a variety of foods, it seems best suited for pizza. Indeed Blackstone claims it can cook a pizza in under 3 minutes. A crumb tray is conveniently located directly beneath the oven. A bottom storage shelf is included as well as two side shelves.
This is a unique offering at a modest price point for those who love pizza and would put a dedicated outdoor pizza oven to good use.
