Duracell 3000 Lumen Tri-Power Rechargeable Lantern Review and Rating

Last Updated On: November 2, 2026

Whether you’re camping, RVing, tailgating after dark, or dealing with a power outage at home, a dependable lantern is a must. The Duracell 3000 Lumen Tri-Power Rechargeable Lantern (Model 1819561) impressed me with its bright output, flexible power options, and built-in device charging.

Multiple Power Options

The Tri-Power Rechargeable Lantern can run on four D batteries (not included) or its built-in rechargeable battery, which can be charged via USB or the solar panel on top of the unit. These options give you several ways to keep the light running when an outlet isn’t available. To select the D batteries, hold the power button down for three seconds while the lantern is off. Otherwise, it runs on the internal rechargeable battery.

A light surrounding the power button indicates the remaining battery charge: green for 66–100%, orange for 33–66%, red for 5–33%, and flashing at 0–5%. According to the manufacturer, the lantern offers up to 50 days of runtime in eco mode with alkaline batteries.

Illumination Options

It’s right there in the name: The Duracell 3000 Lumen Tri-Power Rechargeable Lantern delivers up to 3,000 lumens, with high, medium, and eco settings that let you adjust the brightness to suit the situation. A fourth setting provides flashing red lights to attract attention in an emergency.

The unit feels solidly built, and its weather-resistant construction makes it well suited to camping and other outdoor use.

Charging Devices

Flip up the solar panel to reveal another useful feature: a Qi wireless charging pad for compatible phones and other devices. It’s a handy addition when camping for several days or keeping a phone charged during a power outage. USB-A and USB-C ports near the power button provide additional options for charging devices.

Conclusion for the Duracell 3000 Lumen Tri-Power Rechargeable Lantern

With bright, adjustable light, multiple power options, and convenient device charging, this Duracell lantern offers plenty of versatility for just under $40. Its sturdy construction and useful features make it a strong choice for both outdoor trips and power outages at home. It earns our Gold Medal.
