Grill Rescue Grate Cleaning Brush Review And Rating

Grill Rescue grate cleaning brush.

Grill Rescue is the grate cleaner I grab first. It’s arguably the best I’ve ever used.

Grill Rescue has a metal scraper for removing carbon and gunk, plus a pad made of polyurethane foam wrapped in tough aramid fiber (the same stuff in firefighter gear). This unique pad means that there are no metal bristles that can break off and end up on your food which can be extremely dangerous.

To use the Grill Rescue grate cleaner, I dip it in a bucket of water for a few seconds, and then I wipe it across hot grates. The water boils and steams off the grease. The pad gets black quickly but it you can wash it by hand or in the dishwasher and it works like new for many, many uses. When worn out, you can replace the pad.
