The ThermoPro Twin TempSpike II is a dual-probe version of the previously reviewed TempSpike. The dual version comes with a charging cradle that also displays the temperature of each probe’s sensors while extending the range between the probe and the device running the app.
The ability to monitor two pieces of food simultaneously and keep track of the ambient temperature inside the cooker will make meal preparation simpler. Our tests show that the probe’s accuracy is very good, both for the ambient temperature and the food temperature. For more technical detail click here to read my review of the original TempSpike.

At 36 hours per probe charge, the battery life should be more than adequate for any cooking session. The battery in the cradle/charger should last three months between charges. The instruction sheet will enable the user to connect and monitor the progress of the meal.
