This dial-type leave-in-food thermometer has good accuracy and a very readable display. It is protected by a silicone covering. The scale has both F and C readings. The face of the dial has temperatures for doneness that are on the conservative (over-done) side, consistent with USDA recommendations. It is dishwasher safe.
The manufacturer’s contact info, including address, telephone number and website, are found on the packaging. The unit is covered by a one year warranty.
We’re not usually fond of bi-metal dial thermometers, but this is a decent one that is easily readable and is accurate. Given its performance and price, we’ll give it a Silver medal.
