ThermoWorks Pro BBQ Kit by AmazingRibs.com Review

The TW8060 has been discontinued. For current kits, click here.

The items in this kit were suggested by Meathead Goldwyn of AmazingRibs.com. You get the TW8060 AND an MTC Thermocouple Thermometer with a smart selection of three probes that can be used interchangeably with either meter.

Includes: TW8060 Thermocouple Alarm Thermometer, an MTC Handheld Thermocouple Meter, a Fast Response Meat probe (113-151), the Armored Smokehouse Penetration probe (113-178), and a High-Temp Flexible Ceramic Fiber Insulated probe (WD-08467-64).

Use the Armored Smokehouse Penetration probe with the TW8060’s alarm feature to monitor the meat to your preferred doneness temperature, and the High-Temp Flexible Ceramic Fiber-Insulated probe to keep tabs on the temperature of the oven or smoker. The MTC Mini, along with the Type K Fast-Response Probe will allow you to spot check your meat with Super-Fast readings in less than 3 seconds. Buy the kit and save $30.

grouchy?

1) Please try the search box at the top of every page before you ask for help.

2) Try to post your question to the appropriate page.

3) Tell us everything we need to know to help such as the type of cooker and thermometer. Dial thermometers are often off by as much as 50°F so if you are not using a good digital thermometer we probably can’t help you with time and temp questions. Please read this article about thermometers.
