Looking for a new grill? Check out our picks for best grills 2026, along with the best thermometers and other BBQ tools.
Grills are ever-popular, but this year’s biggest BBQ news was in grill brushes. Maybe you heard about the massive recall of more than 19 million wire grill brushes? The thin, sharp wires can break off, and if you swallow one you may be Emergency Room bound. Thankfully, we’ve found several effective and safe grill brushes. Interest in the best pizza ovens and the best pellet smokers also remains strong this year, although signs of fatigue and market saturation are starting to show. We’ve also seen a slow but steady growth in wireless technology, thermostatic control and electric power. And did I mention GRIDDLES? They’re still selling like hotcakes. One of the year’s best portable gas griddles is reviewed below.
You’ll see all of these trends reflected below in our staff picks of the Best New BBQ Products 2026, including a new Weber gas grill, a Traeger pellet smoker, an economical portable griddle from Charbroil, and various thermometers, tools, and more. Why trust us? Because we’re thorough and don’t sell anything. Find out more about how we test grills and smokers.
