Char-Broil Grill2Go X200 Review And Rating

Char-Broil Grill2Go.

The Char-Broil Grill2Go X200 is a solid portable gas grill that employs their trademark TRU-Infrared design to produce searing temps. It has a 200 square inch stainless steel cooking grate which is also a radiant plate that concentrates heat from the single 9,500 BTU burner. With no open flame, there are no flare-ups, making X200 easy to use and very forgiving for those who become abandoned to the gods of tailgating. The TRU-Infrared design also reduces fuel consumption: a nice feature for a portable that runs on small 16.4 oz. LP cylinders. Heavy cast aluminum lid and firebox will not rust, (although screws and fasteners will), and will retain heat much better than thin steel. The lid snaps shut with two front latches and holds the grate in place so it doesn’t bang around when carried.

Char-Broil states, “This Grill2Go X200 is designed to get hot quickly and hold heat so that food can be cooked quickly. The Grill2Go X200 is able to reach temperatures around 650°F.” Dimensions are: 16″ D X 23.5″ W X 13.75″ H.

A cloth carrying case and 20 lb. LP tank adapter are optional. The case has pockets for some BBQ tools and LP cylinders.
