Drip EZ Prep and Storage Tub

Imagine Tupperware Made Better: Griller Grade Food Prep and Storage

“This isn’t going to be for everybody.” was our first thought upon seeing Drip EZ’s Prep Tubs. The unique design and relatively heavy build, not to mention the hefty price tag, formed our snap judgement (no pun intended) that Drip EZ is for pro, or semi-pro use; a storage unit for caterers and competition teams. But the more we played with the Drip EZ Prep Tub for this review, the more we backed off that initial impression.

Drip EZ sizes

Drip EZ offers a variety of outdoor cooking products. These Prep Tubs are their flagship items. They  come in three sizes: Junior, Original and XL, and four colors: black, orange, green and sandstone. We tested the Original, measuring 20 inches L x 16.25 inches W x 2 to 5.5 inches D. Drip EZ’s collapsible, accordion style design enables variable depth on all models.

Drip EZ mailed

It was delivered in a thin box. Pressed all the way down, Drip EZ Prep Tubs are only about 2 inches thick.

Drip EZ cutting board

The tub bottom doubles as a nylon cutting board.

Drip EZ cutting veggies

Clever.

Drip EZ slicing brisket

And useful. The 360° trough collects tasty meat juices as you slice. Take care not to nick the sides, especially when using a large knife.

Drip EZ half extended

The accordion popped up halfway.

Drip EZ fully extended

Fully extended.

Drip EZ with lid

Drip EZ Prep Tubs have snap on lids. They seal tight, but don’t have a gasket and are not leakproof. If you turn them upside down liquid will leak out. So don’t do that!

Drip EZ pulled pork

EZ to store, EZ to schlep, EZ to prep and EZ to serve. Ya gotta love these All-In-One tubs.

Drip EZ bundles

Plus Drip EZ offers a lot of attractive bundles.

Conclusion

Pro and home cooks alike can appreciate this chameleon tub that facilitates scalable prep, storage and serving. Pop it all the way up for big hunks or all the way down to cut and serve. Drip EZ reduces mess, captures tasty juices and makes transporting foods painless.

Drip EZ ribs

The home cook who only uses it a couple times a year for parties may appreciate the collapsible design even more than pros. A big tub can hog a good chunk of storage space. But squash Drip EZ down to the size of a large book then tuck it out of the way between your cutting boards and serving trays. This makes a good gift for the BBQ nut who shows up to your party with a big tray wrapped in aluminum foil and dripping goo.

Well whataya know? Maybe Drip EZ Prep Tubs are for everybody! We give them our AmazingRibs.com Best Value Gold Medal.

Dishwasher safe. Do not microwave. Drip Ez provides a ninety (90) day warranty of parts. Labor not included.

We thank Drip EZ for providing a Prep Tub for this review.
