Weber Unveils Its 2026 Grill Lineup

The Weber Barbecue Ecosystem evolves with smart technology for gas or charcoal

Weber has been riding technology waves for several years, slowly growing its catalog of Smart Wireless products. The company’s 2026 product lineup introduces a comprehensive, connected “smart ecosystem” for grilling by linking smart grills, accessories, and the Weber Connect App across all major fuel types and expanding options for charcoal grilling with the Performer Smart Charcoal Grill and Kettle Smart Ring. You better believe we’re super-interested in that! Additionally, updated models of the popular Genesis and Spirit Smart Gas Grills feature Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled, battery-operated digital thermometers. Weber’s new Smart Wireless Probe Plus with Booster and Charger can be used with any grill, enabling precise temperature monitoring regardless of fuel type.

“The Weber 2026 collection builds on technology and design innovation to give consumers efficient ways to prep, cook, serve, and clean, so they can enjoy more time with friends and family,” says Roberto Carvajal, Weber’s VP of Products. “Our engineers designed each new product—from smart grills to wireless probes to intuitively designed accessories—to deliver a connected system in the backyard, where components work together.”

Wireless temperature probes

Wireless digital temperature probes are gaining popularity. If you ever used them it’s easy to see why. With no twitchy and sooty wires to thread under the hood and wrap up after cooking, getting accurate backyard temp readings is an absolute breeze. They’re a match made in heaven for rotisserie cooking. Weber is a little late to the wireless probe party, but it looks like they’re jumping into the ring swinging.

Weber’s Smart Wireless Probe Plus with Booster and Charger includes a Smart Wireless Probe with a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled charging case to enhance probe connectivity. The case also supports pairing with additional Smart Wireless Probes (sold separately) and pairs with the Weber Connect App. The Smart Wireless Probes can pair with a Weber smart grill, the new Smart Hub, and the Weber Connect App.

Weber 2026 Smart Hub

The new Weber Smart Hub Display and Booster is a compact device with a bright LCD screen that can be used with any brand of grill or oven. It connects to two Weber wired and four Weber wireless probes or sensors (sold separately) to monitor internal food temperatures and cook times. The Smart Hub pairs with the Weber Connect App, has a built-in Wi-Fi booster to enhance connectivity of paired probes, and functions as a portable display for Generation 2 Weber smart grills, allowing monitoring away from the grill without a smartphone.

The new Weber smart grilling devices allow consumers to set up cooks, monitor temperatures, and receive flip and serve alerts, timers, and doneness notifications from a smartphone via the Weber Connect App with any brand of grill. The Smart Wireless Probe with Booster and Charger ($114.99), Smart Hub Display and Booster ($89.99), and individual Smart Wireless Probe ($69.99) all come with a two-year limited warranty and are available as of late Spring 2026.

Performer Smart Charcoal Grills

Weber Smart Performers

The new Performer Smart Charcoal Grills really caught our eye. For 2026, Weber updated this established grill with new engineering, design updates, and optional smart technology to enhance the charcoal grilling experience, especially for long cooks and overnight smoking. The top model of the new Performer charcoal grill line is the 22” Performer Premium Smart Charcoal Grill, which features an LCD Wi-Fi enabled controller that regulates temperature by activating a digital fan that blows air into the coals. Restricting oxygen cools the cooker, and adding oxygen allows it to heat up. These thermostatic controllers are nothing new, but are usually sold separately. However, we’ve recently seen a growing number of charcoal cookers with integrated controllers. Now Weber adds its iconic kettle to that short list. Performers without smart technology will continue to be available.

The new Smart Performers also feature remote control via a smartphone using the Weber Connect App, two built-in probe ports to monitor food temperature, one included food probe, and a Weber Works side table and side rail for drop in and snap on accessories. All models have a cart, side table and storage shelf, and the same features as the standard Weber kettle including a porcelain-enameled finish, adjustable dampers for manual temperature control, and an updated One-Touch cleaning system for easy ash removal. The hinged cooking grate flips up on either side to easily add charcoal or wood chunks, and the Tuck-Away lid holder provides a convenient place to nest the lid against the side of the bowl.

Backed by a 10-year limited warranty, the new 2026 Performer Charcoal Grill is available in a premium smart model for $799 or base smart model for $599; a premium model for $649 and a base model for $449. The base models are available as of Spring 2026; the premium models as of Summer 2026.

Genesis and Spirit Smart Gas Grills

Weber Genesis 2026 Smart Grill

In addition to the redesigned Performer charcoal grill line, Weber’s 2026 product lineup includes updates to the Genesis and Spirit Smart Gas Grills. These models feature Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-enabled, battery-operated digital thermometers that integrate with the Weber Connect ecosystem. The new Genesis and Spirit Smart Gas Grills also includes a hot Sear Zone that reaches up to 750°F/398°C and a side table compatible with Weber Works accessories. Available in both liquid propane and natural gas options in Spring 2026, the three-burner models of the updated Genesis Smart Gas Grill start at $999; the Spirit Smart Gas Grills come in three- and four-burner models, starting at $599.

Kettle Smart Ring

Weber Kettle Smart Ring

Also new for 2026 is the Kettle Smart Ring attachment for Weber 22” charcoal grills that adds the Performer Premium Smart Charcoal Grill’s temperature control and smart connectivity to classic kettle charcoal cooking.

Weber Kettle with Smart Ring

The Kettle Smart Ring, also compatible with non-smart Performer charcoal grills, is available for $279.99 exclusively on weber.com as of Spring 2026.

Lastly, the 2026 Weber collection includes some good, old fashioned, non-techy items. The flat top craze continues and Weber responds with more tools for griddle cooking such as a Griddle Chopper and Butter Roller. Weber Works adds additional snap-on accessories, and two new cleaning products are on the way: exterior cleaning wipes and a cold clean brush with scraper.

We’re eager to get our hands on these new items when the production models are available. First and foremost, the Performer Smart Charcoal Grill. Stay tuned.
