Master Forge 2-burner is the smallest model. Some owners complain about crumby construction, bad customer service and lack of replacement of parts, while others love their grills and are eager to shower praise, and appreciate the low price tag.

This model has a large, fold-out work shelf on the left side. Master Forge is a brand that people either love or hate. As with all Master Forge cookers, construction is flimsy and the work shelf is unstable. We don't recommend this model.

The Master Forge 5-Burner Modular Gas Grill comes with a lot of extras and a matching sink/bar with griddle and burners is available for an additional $800. As with all Master Forge cookers, construction is flimsy. We don't recommend this model.

MHP took their existing components and created a large, stainless steel grill which may be installed or purchased on a cart. Our review of their GJK3 describes its contemporary look, but without bells and whistles like digital thermometers and hood lights. Indeed, the only electric components are the battery ignition and optional rotisserie.

We reviewed the TJK2 which is similar to the MHP classic cast aluminum WNK4 except it is made with a single wall stainless steel lid with aluminum end caps. The stainless seems like a nod to contemporary tastes, but why the single wall for a company that prides itself on even heat retention?

It's actually a grill and roaster/smoker in one with 314 square inches of cook surface on each side. Grill on the left, slow roast on the right. You can put small amounts of wood or charcoal over the left side flavor bars. Slide the water pan from right to the left/gas burner side and steam, boil or fry in it.
